The 42mm rose gold case is powered by the automatic HW3203 Caliber. Functions include moon phase, hours and minutes and pointer-type date. A nice detail included on the sunburst dial is one brilliant-cut diamond with a .03 carat weight. The diamond is placed at the end of the logo name and is a perfect accent for the best Harry Winston. The moon phase display is conjoined to the date display, while the watch is without a seconds display.

In the coming days, you’ll be reading quite a bit about Baselworld. What is Baselworld, exactly? Why is it so important? What happens there? Can I go? For the answers to these and more questions, read on.
1. What is Baselworld? Baselworld, sometimes called the Basel Fair, is the world’s largest watch-and-jewelry trade show. For 2016, the show runs March 17 to 24th, and as you might guess, it’s in Basel, Switzerland.
It is generally recognized that the Histoire de Tourbillon series is going to get Harry Winston in trouble. Seeing how every iteration of this series of incredible legacy watches has gotten exponentially more and more complex every year, we’re beginning to wonder how on Earth will they be able to deliver something that can up the ante from the previous version. However, it doesn’t look like 2016 will be the year the Histoire De Tourbillon plateaued, with the introduction of the downright galactic Harry Winston Histoire de Tourbillon 7 for Baselworld.
It goes without saying the fact that the new Harry Winston Project Z9 watch features double AR-coated sapphire crystals and water resistance of up to 100 meters, in a case made of Zalium, a zirconium-base alloy exclusive to Harry Winston.
On the inside, the movement is an in-house caliber HW3304, with 37 jewels, 36,000 vph and a power reserve of 72 hours. A flyback chronograph, it has a flat silicon balance spring, an 18kt white gold openworked rotor, circular Côtes de Genève, and circular graining.
It’s perhaps quite a good sign while a watch appears both familiar and radical in the same glance. The general sense I get from the Harry Winston Avenue Dual Time Automatic watch is that it slots neatly into the category of Art Deco masterpiece, however under further scrutiny, each of the elements presents an off-kilter styling that seems completely modern. Deco-inspired pieces have always benefited from the cleanliness of their parent principle. Basically, Art Deco is never as conspicuously passé as many other epochal styles thanks to it seems such bold, repeating patterns make sense to our brains.
It is the first new collection of watches for men and women in more than a decade from La Montre Hermès, the luxury house’s watchmaking division, and the first to appear from its creative director, Philippe Delhotal, who joined the company from Patek Philippe in 2009, and it is considered the culmination of a long-term strategy to set up Hermès as a credible maker of mechanical Swiss watches.
With the holidays upon us, so many watch brands offer diamonds, glitter, glitz and gold. Some, but at the greatly high end also look to the Métiers d’ Arts as it relates to the Chinese New Year. Next year, beginning on February 8, 2016, ushers in the year of the Monkey.
To celebrate the beloved, clever creature that stands for intelligence, adventure and quick wit, Harry Winston unveils the Premier Monkey Automatic 36mm watch. Part of the Premier collection, the watch features a small open-worked gold monkey whose tail is wrapped around an emerald-cut diamond at 12 o’ clock. The gold work recalls a Chinese art form known as Jianzhi, or paper cutting. And it has been applied to gold in this instances and features applique’ work and gold cutting in marquise forms.
Opus , first and foremost a human journey, began in 2001 in collaboration with independent watchmakers. It is a journey that Harry Winston shares with the most passionate collectors of extraordinary pieces. In 2015, Harry Winston Timepieces has written the fourteenth chapter in this unique saga. By partnering with Franck Orny and Johnny Girardin, two visionary watchmakers, the brand provided an exceptional chance to push the limits of the imagination even further. It all began with a blank slate on which to design a totally original timepiece. Code name: Opus 14.
A stylish watch on one’s wrist does more than simply mark the hours. The timepieces shown here are destined for females who love watchmaking as much as they love watches.
